notes	最大的悲剧是“第二个罗布泊”事件——玛纳斯湖的消失，下游自然湖泊被上游一个个人工水库取代，玛纳斯湖盐泽满目疮痍，震惊世界，前所未有的破坏已经无法逆转。我们就是一代罪人，新疆建设了许多大坝（10倍于五年前）和水库、疯狂采矿、毫无节制垦荒（西部大开发变成西部大开荒）、东部污染企业西迁、过度放牧（羊肉价格疯涨恶性循环）、高速公路网络化建设、人口迅速西迁的压力等等，西部遭殃，民族间的矛盾加大，没有缓解贫困化趋势（莫谈国事）。典型案例，玛纳斯湖、罗布泊一个个消失了，塔里木河、乌伦古河、玛纳斯河等出现长时间断流，这些都是解放60年持续不断长期开发的结果。
