notes	西小嘴乌鸦X9；欧金翅X82 观察温泉河河谷冬季的鸟类。各鸟种的数量记录为单次最大数量。博尔塔拉河谷的上游人称温泉河，温泉河谷在新疆地图上向西突出，北、西、南三面和哈萨克斯坦接界，达坂海拔在3300米。温泉县城位于河谷的南岸，海拔1300米，这一段河谷宽度在300米左右，多数河段密布山杨林和沙棘林。河谷的北面是阿拉套山，南面是别珍套山，县城附近山谷宽度在15公里左右，观察区海拔1100-1300米。这一段阿拉套山上缺乏乔木，别珍套山山顶有少量针叶林，河谷到山前地带是农田，防护林是新疆杨，只有少量沙枣树，鸟类主要以沙棘和谷物为食，大群小鸟集中在乡镇附近的面粉厂和油脂厂觅食。今年温泉气候异常寒冷，三月初低温还在—22°，1月最低温在—33°，和下游地处准格尔盆地西缘的的博乐市不相上下（由于较高海拔的逆温层效应，通常温泉县城冬季的气温要比88公里外的博乐高3-5°，但这个冬季两者的温差不明显）。河谷河谷积雪较历年偏厚，达15-25厘米。
