欧洲猛禽大神 Dick Forsman对这只鸟的看法“ "Colours prefectly match GF, as do the proportions. However, I suspet that this bird might be an ”Altai Falcon”, which is nowadays considerd to be a hybrid between GF and Saker. Minor points speaking against a pure GF are the contrasting white forehead and weak bill, perhaps also the narrow and fairly sharply defined moustcahial stripe. A pity there aren’t better photos.”

这只鸟的颜色和体型大小很像矛隼，但嘴有点弱，额头偏白，胡须纤细， Dick Forsman认为是阿尔泰隼。阿尔泰隼的分类地位很不确定，有认为是猎隼亚种的，有认为是矛隼和猎隼杂鸟的，也有作为矛隼亚种的。
